Lisa Parker

After graduating from Washington State University in 1978 I began my career teaching first grade. My years of experience have all been in the primary grades, teaching preschool, Kindergarten and first. I also had the opportunity to spend a year teaching English to students in Japan. For the last 20 years I have been teaching Kindergarten in both half-day and full-day programs in Phoenix, Arizona.

Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys.

Originally from New Jersey I am a graduate of the University of Delaware. I have two sons, who are now grown and on their own. In my free time I enjoy playing golf.

This enthusiasm and increased mastery of skills led us to adopt the philosophy that skills can be taught through literature in a more meaningful way than through workbooks. From this philosophy, we developed  litkinder.jpg (1583 bytes)
